Regulatory Reform

Governor Chafee announced on September 12, 2012, his initiative to accelerate a recently enacted regulatory review process, by directing agencies to reduce their review timeframe from four years to just over a year.

Shared Municipal Services

The Governor's Task Force on Shared Municipal Services will explore ways to provide shared municipal services amoung Central Falls, East Providence, and Pawtucket while achieving greater efficiency and cost savings.
